Welcome

Heart’s Desire Bed & Breakfast is located
in a Classic Four Square Home,
overlooking Mahone Bay.

John & Denise look forward to welcoming you to their home situated in the beautiful town of Mahone Bay overlooking the Civic Marina and the Bay with it’s many boats. We offer all the comforts of home, including WiFi and a full delicious breakfast.

We are situated less than a one minute stroll from the start of the delightful shops of Mahone Bay. The Mahone Bay Museum, Three Churches, the open air swimming pool, walking trails and bike hire are all within a short walk of our home. When you are ready for something to eat or drink, as well as the local pub, the restaurants, coffee and tea shops are also only minutes away. Or, after a busy day in town, you may prefer to unwind sitting on our veranda watching the world sail by!

Fall News

September and October can be a wonderful time to visit Mahone Bay. The weather can still be warm during the day and the sunsets on the Bay, together with the fall colors, are a sight to behold. September 29th sees the start of our Scarecrow Festival & Antique Fair weekend. Although we are already fully booked for the Friday & Saturday we do have vacancies the following week when you are still able to view all the wonderful scarecrows around the town – without the crowds! We will be closing the week commencing October 23rd as we are getting a new roof. After this date, we will be open again but for reservations only. If possible we would like 48 hours notice if you intend to stay with us during our winter months.
