Welcome to our home, below is more information about our lovely house and what you can see when you stay.
The House
Heart’s Desire Bed & Breakfast is located in a Classic Four Square Home, overlooking Mahone Bay. It was built in 1922 for Vera Mason and a lot of the original woodwork and character of the home has been maintained throughout the years.
As well as our large veranda overlooking the Bay guests are welcome to make use of either of our two lounges, dining room and tv facilities.
The Veranda
We invite you to sit on our veranda and partake in one of our favourite pastimes of watching the boats and wildlife out on the bay.
The Lounges
Our main lounge just off the hall has a t.v.( with cable) and a d.v.d. player for our guest’s use. During the colder months this is where you can cozy up to our lovely warm stove. Relax in comfort!
The upstairs lounge is a perfect place to read, play cards & games – or simply watch the activity out on the Bay. This is also where we offer early morning tea or coffee to guests before they venture downstairs for breakfast.
The Dining Room
Situated just off the lounge is the dining room where guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst swapping stories with other guests and John & Denise, their hosts.
