Spring is here!

At last, all the snow has gone and the garden is showing signs of spring with lots of green shoots and the forsythia is in full bloom! We’ve been busy the last month and the renovations works and decorating are in the final stages.

The Garden Hideaway now has it’s own private deck complete with barbecue and the Garden Room has a new floor both in the bedroom and the balcony. We are just putting the finishing touches to both projects and will post new photos both on the website and Facebook when done. Shops and restaurants in Mahone Bay are now fully open and the boats are starting to go back in the water.

Don’t forget you can book online using our secure booking engine by clicking on the check availability/book now button at the top of the page or, if you prefer, feel free to call us on our toll free number 1-866-624-8470. We look forward to seeing you! John & Denise

    Covid-19 update:

We were planning to re-open our house for guests as from July 1st 2020, however, following discussions with our health provider with regards to Denise’s chronic health conditions we have sadly, decided to postpone, once again, opening the rooms in the house until at least August.

However, the Garden Hideaway is bookable although, at the moment, we are only accepting new bookings from within the Maritimes and initially only from Nova Scotia, until the Maritime borders are open within a ‘bubble”.

We will be constantly reviewing the situation and will update our website with news whenever things change. We do apologize for the changes but keeping ourselves and others safe and healthy has to be our first priority.

Please stay safe and keep well,
    Best wishes
    John & Denise.
